Dear Gee Whiz, No, I don't live in FL. Do you live in lala land? If you are correct there would be no reason for shirt manufacturers to make long sleeve, wool or heavy material shirts to be worn in the cold of winter. There'd be no reason for turtle necks. Conversely, there'd be no reason for 100% cotton shirts to be worn during the heat of summer. As for a cotton/poly blend? You've got to be kidding. NO ITA in the summer? You ever been in Texas in April or May? And wsn't there an ITA tournament this summer down in Dallas?

The ITA shirt is not worn in the summer - no events!
The USTA shirt comes in cotton/poly blend which is much cooler.
As for the winter, shirts aren't supposed to keep you warm, that's what a jacket is for.
Gee Whiz!
Just remember a lot of that difference is made up of the 'vig' that someone connected to the Home Office probably gets.
Believe me when I say, nothing gets done in NYC without some grease appplied somewhere
