I think I saw Jimmy Robinson there too! All of them have done a GREAT job - VERY IMPRESSED so far with the line calls from all the officials...Texas is well represented.
Since you retired from serving the higher power - you still need to be HONEST RM - the reason there are not THAT MANY males from Texas is because - no one wants to go - horrible hours, horrible pay - AND WORST OF ALL no FREE lunch (just stupid coupons - worth NOTHING!)!
I agree with you completely. The saddest thing is when they convince some young aspiring official that they can make a living running around the country doing lines...
There were more Texas officials there, men and women, not all on show courts. No coupons for food--the credential has $$ electronically embedded. Yes long hours, but so is roving 12 courts for 12+ hours in the Texas sun!
