2009 National Co-Champions

2009 CO-NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

After analyzing all of the bowl and season results the obvious outcome of this season should be that the University of Texas Longhorns and the Florida Gators should be declared CO-NATIONAL CHAMPIONS for 2009. This decision is based on the fact that Texas crushed Oklahoma by 10 points back in October and Florida barely edged them by 10 points tonight thus awarding both teams the CO-NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
Tonight's announcers should have called themselves the "Tim Tebow Show" with all of their superlatives for Tebow. Not only were they possessed with Tebow, they made some inaccurate statements. Here were the worst two:
1. When they said that Tebow is "without question the greatest leader in college football." Obviously they have never called a game with Colt McCoy, Graham Harrell, or Sam Bradford before.
2. When they said that Bradford is "the most accurate passer in college football." Obviously they have never read Colt McCoy's statistics because he far surpasses all of them in this category.
Once again, congratulations to the Texas and Florida for being CO-NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. (At least in my unbiased opinion and with tongue in cheek.)

You thinkt they have two of those glass football trophies or will Florida get to keep it one year and then Texas the next?

Well, my mom has decided we aren't moving to Oklahoma afterall. And after last night, I kinda agree. Bobby "Big-Game Bob" Stoops has left us a little disappointed again this year. My PaPa knows he won't be the one on the hot-seat come next season, even though he hasn't won the BIG 12 Championship for the past 3 years. In fact, he kinda feels a little sad for his adversary up north. And, I noticed the note he is sending is addressed as Bobby "Marv Levy" Stoops.

The way it ended, there has to be four trophies..........Utah, Florida, USC, and Texas

How in the hell do you get to four trophies? The only thing Texas deserves is an extra large bowl for those all those chips they got for free for playing an Ohio State crappy team.

You are right. Only Utah - the only undefeated team should get one....

"Big Game Bob" Stoops will now forever be known as "Get to the Big Game Bob" Stoops. But now that Sam Bradford has announced he is returning next year, Bobby might make it back to the Big Game. Sorry Mack!!
