Who assigned the officiating staff at this weekend's Stanford Championships at SMU? I was in attendance on Saturday and Saturday night and it was a downright embarrassment. My dead grandmother could have done a better job calling lines. Is this the BEST Texas has to offer? If it is, you guys should throw in the towel immediately.
I'm really surprised the local media didn't pick up on how inept the officiating was, or is it that I'm knowledgeable on what a good line umpire should look like and the rest of the world isn't. Does anybody else have a similar observation?

The A team was over in Ft. Worth doing an ITA tournament with Myron... (Randall Edwards, Gary Tolbert, Lynn Davis, David Fleuriet, Eddie Quinones, Cheryl Vinsant, Glen Whitaker, Bill Jesberg, and yours truly.)

For those of you who have been offended, I was only KIDDING about the remark about the A team. I do know there was a big tournament in College Station as well as Ft. Worth so that might explain some things.
I do know that Susan Wertenberger did try to use local officials. We do have some pro level officials in the Metroplex so maybe she was using some of them.
I did note that we had over 100 years of officiating experience just in Ft. Worth--but I'm not sure years of experience makes you a great official.
To those who are offended: calm down and don't get your panties in a wad. Life will go on...
I also have no idea who Susan used in Dallas so please don't file a grievance against me...

I have a comment on your 100 years of officiating experience in Fort Worth. Did you use a certain official that has been around for at least 80 years (at least appearances would indicate so) in assessing your average????
