Well, after last week and the weekend in which everyone thought the four Big 12 teams were going to the Pac 16 we get news today that it might not happen...
Seems that the Big 12 might now be the Big 10 if the big 5 teams decide to stay. They are still negotiating over tv rights so who knows what will happen...
We'll try to keep you posted.
At least hope now springs eternal at Jerusalem on the Brazos!

It's "even money" that the Big 12 Conference survives.
The Pac 10 deal did not happen!!
GO BIG 12 or 10 or Whatever.
Evidently, the Pac 10 couldn't take Mac Brown and his whining!!
The BIG 12 has 10 teams.
The BIG 10 now has 12 teams.
Maybe a name trade will happen??
How about a name change to "THE NOT SO BIG 12"
Interesting side note:
The Big 12(10) is down to 6 men's tennis teams. The NCAA requires 6 participating schools for a conference champion to be an automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament.
Whew! That was a close one!
P.S. What are the chances that men's tennis will be like basketball and everyone plays each other twice on a home and home basis? 10 conference matches? NOT!
This whole Big 12 fiasco was simply a sting operation to get rid of Nebraska and Colorado. Just think about it for a moment. The power schools get together and brainstorm a way to get rid of the lesser schools. They hatch a plan to jump ship and wait until after their target schools do so and then miraculously decide to stay put.
It just doesn't get any better than this. What suckers Nebraska and Colorado are.
Now they need to move Oklahoma and OSU into the top half for football otherwise the winner of the north could have a 2-12 record...
If I understand things correctly, there will not be a conference football championship game because there are only 10 teams. Therefore I doubt that there will be a North & South division. Everyone will play everybody in the conference & each school will have 9 conference football games.
