Thanks to Randy and the other officials who bird-dogged this task. It is much appreciated!! We all look super in the ITA logo gear.
Just think how good we would have looked wearing this stuff in Southern California.
It appears the USTA Board has disapproved the use of this ITA Logo gear. Now what's up with that??
When will a definitive answer to this issue be known??
p.s.
And I'm pretty sure the USTA Board would also disapprove of my Concealed Carry License too.
Well, I'll be more than happy to let them send me a check for what I paid for my ITA clothing.
That's like the NFL deciding what college football officials can(not) wear.
I'll bet there is some misunderstanding about this.
As of today, we have received nothing from the USTA saying they have disallowed these shirts. Not sure its in their realm though.
As an independent contractor, I can assure you that the shirts will be required when you work for me.
I'll let you know what I know when I know it.
Hey Wally,
I bet you're a bunch more comfortable, safe and secure with your CCL than the folks in the metropolitan NYC area, home of the USTA are. I know I am.
I have finally found something worthwhile from reading this blog!!
With Thanks to Randy, I will be stealing his quote, which should come in handy for me from time to time.
"I'll let you know what I know when I know it."
Anon,
Glad to be of help...

If something did happen in this area of the country, it would be an awesome sight at the response 'us citizens' would have deploying against the situation.
"MAKE MY DAY!!"
I know what we should do. Let's file a class action lawsuit against the USTA for discrimatory practices and see where it goes. I can almost guarantee that the USTA will hide their tails between their legs as they run away.
That is definitely an option that will be considered.
