USA!! USA!! USA!! USA!!
Isner's epic win nets him at least an additional $7,500 in prize money. That's the difference between 1st round (11,250) and 2nd round losers (18,750).
5th set:
70 + 68 = 138 games - 13 (tiebreak set 7-6) = an extra 125 games. divided into 7,500 = $60 game for the extra effort./
Any takers on him winning his 2nd round match??
My son Mitch tried to match Isner's acomplishment at Wimbledon but fell short 6-3 3-6 14-16 today.
I hope he still has skin on his toes unlike Isner...
Myron: was watching the score line of Mitchell's match while at work, tough loss, but a very good showing against a seeded player. Good luck to him.
