At Least There Is A Silver Lining In These Clouds

What more can be said? After the worst season in my entire LIFETIME, the Texas Longhorns have finally finished their year.

As I was wearing sackcloth and ashes and seeking to find something good to think upon, I realized that every cloud has a "silver lining."

The "silver lining" for the Longhorns is that they aren't going to a bowl game--so they could lose yet again! Thank the Lord the season has come to a merciful end.

True . . . but they could sure use the extra month of practice that a bowl game would have given them!

So let me see if I have this right: they lost EVERY conference home game? Including the game against the Baptists? Who are bowl-eligible!

Randy, maybe this is why turning Presbyterian is a good thing for you.

However, they did manage to beat Nebraska who will win the north and maybe the whole thing...

Yeah Dave Campbell blew his projections for Big 12 standings this year. Looks like he's getting too old and is starting to lose his mind.

I was looking forward to Texas playing in a Bowl game. It's kinda like the Detroit Lions playing on Thanksgiving. It's a guaranteed win for their opponent.

Let's see. Last year the Longhorns were playing for an alledged National Championship and this year they are in LAST place of the Big 12. It just doesn't get any better than this. And Mackie Brown telling the media he doesn't like the feeling of losing. Get with it dude cause he is a loser.

Did anyboby watch the arrogance some of the Texas players had towards the Aggies' bench prior to the game during warmup? I was at the game and it was very "Bush League" especially since Texas doesn't have anything to base their arrogance on this year. It was laughable, especially after the game was over.

The best silver lining of all is the scraping off of all those stupid orange cow stickers from Texas fan's cars and pee-cup trucks.

Of course its always paradoxical to hear Aglets talk about arrogance of players and fans since their's are among the worst. Even though the 'Horns may suck this year, they have plenty of 10 win seasons to back up their credentials which none in the Big 12 other than Oklahoma, can boast.

There you go again RM, living in the past. Yeah I know, you can remember way back when.... WHO CARES. This generation lives for the present. Forget the past cause it's done.
