Modern day prophets.
Forthtelling events that will soon appear on the horizon.
One of my special gifts in life is the gift of PROPHECY--and I wanted to share this with my friends in the officiating world. In order to check the validity of a prophet you need to see if his/her prophecies actually come to pass.
In order to stimulate your imaginations I am FORTHTELLING that there will be some major changes in the three locations listed below.
I will now leave it up to you to speculate but my prophecies should all come to pass within the year of 2010.
Be sure to stay tuned...

Don't know what changes are on tap for TCU, or TEXAS A & M, but there needs to be major chages within the USTA. From top to bottom. The USTA has completely lost the GRASS ROOTS of TENNIS. All they promote is PROFESSIONAL and LEAGUES. Just look at where they spend their money. USTA has become so stagnated from Top to bottom that new players / officials are completely left out when they reach age 50 or above. Just look at who runs the tournament and who is selected as director or referee. I for one will not even consider working a pro event or any event in which the the USTA or MV is in charges.
Oh great prophet....ref TCU, could it be that Dave Borelli will return to the position of Women's Coach? Since this was reported in today's Fort Worth Star Telegram, and I assume posted by the university on it's website yesterday, the prophet should not take credit for his prophetic skills on this one. Now, if the prophet knows something about which coach will take the Men's position at TCU and where that coach will be coming from, perhaps the prophet should place his tarot cards on the table and speculate.
Alas, but the wise prophet (being me) did not learn of Coach Borelli's ascencion (or descent) to become women's coach at TCU from a mere newspaper. It came from on high...
I do have wise and learned visions about his successor. I would say that if you desire the truth, then you should look south to the Holy City for your answer...
"look South to the Holy City", but forsooth, to which shrine does one bow? To that of those who tolerate no fun and want no other to have fun, as well? Or, to that of those who worship the beast on the hoof? Perhaps to the hidden city of the Agro, secluded by distance from all things Liberal? We beseech thee, O' prophet of the blog, enlighten us further!
For one of the prophecies I would encourage you to look beyond Jerusalem on the Brazos to the city that worships the beast on the hoof.
Recently (last night) I had yet another vision that pertains specifically to those who worship the small pony. It too shall be forthcoming before 2011.
A former Horned Frog player is the leading candidate for the new men's coach. Now if only they can come to an agreement. If he does arrive in the golden city by the creek, He will be following the path lighted by the previous coach.
So when do we get to hear the 'news' from A&M and UT?
Who cares about the usta . . .
