Randy, I am truly appreciative of the invitation to the Chair Academy. First of all, thanks to you, Randall, and Seande I was prepared for the event. The rain was a blessing (for the students) as we received hours of classroom instruction from Marc, Bruce, and Cheryl and were taught techniques and listened to possible scenarios. Once on the court both Marc, on Monday afternoon, and Bruce, on Tuesday morning, were right next to me and made comments and suggestions.
Working one match after another on Tuesday afernoon was the way to become comfortable and gain confidence. I had a little of everything from a medical timeout to a Code violation.
This was a great experience and I am looking forward to the next tournament.
