In case you missed the game, the OU SOONERS won the BIG 12 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP game in Kansas City, 12/6/2008..... 61 - 21 over the Missouri Tigers. (yes, that's the football score, not basketball).
I do seem to remember that Texas had to "share" the Big 12 title with two other less fortunate and well known schools. In this case, I choose not to print their names. Just acknowledge excellence in Austin...
I heard UT Athletics bought the local jailhouse from the city of Austin, since they already had most of their athletes staying there on a regular basis.
