ITA Apparel Website Up And Running

The ITA apparel website is now up and fully functional. You can now choose your items and order them online so there is no need to email your order any longer.

You can access this site by going to the top right of the blog and clicking on "ITA Apparel." Please remember that they do not do refunds and/or exchanges so be sure to get your order right the first time.

We hope you all find this helpful in the days to come.

Hey Randy.

Get back with Richie and provide him a link to the ITA apparel site.

Thanks should go out to Randy and Myron for having the foresight to think outside of the box and start the ball rolling for ITA attire. You guys should be in leadership positions.

Once again, Texas officials are trend setters against all odds.

"Trend setters against all odds". Do those "odds" include the sectional director of officials?

It looks like the Southeast part of the country is going to get on board with the new ITA logo gear. (black shirts). Univ. Arkansas starts this year, along with other SEC schools.

Of course, until the self-appointed ITA guru from California blesses this new uniform attire it will not be officially recognized.

The new ITA gear has been officially blessed - by the ITA, USTA Officials Chairman, and Texas Section Chairman.

It was blessed when we started this whole thing years ago. Now its just time to watch it grow and grow...

Do Randy & Myron get a kickback on all this new ITA LOGO apparel like the BIG 12 commissioner does on BIG 12 uniforms??

Just asking!!

Randy and Myron do not receive a SINGLE PENNY from the sale of ITA shirts and apparel. We had to sign an agreement with the ITA that we would not make a profit.

What others do is something I do not know.

so what was with the sudden $5 jump in price per polo? I ordered 2 shirts on Tuesday for $23 a piece and now they offer 5 colors and shirts are $28. Also I am sorry but their customer service is not very good IMO. Sent emails at 8 AM Tuesday and still no response. Hope this is not going to be a constant issue.

I imagine the price increase for the shirts was because there were hundreds of officials all over the country wanting every color under the rainbow since the USTA has now forbidden ITA officials to wear anything with the USTA logo on it.

Its still a bargain at $28 a shirt by the way. Compare it to the price of the USTA shirt.

Also, there was not a price increase on anything but the shirts and its understandable when they have to have so many colors and most orders are for one or two shirts.

Arkansas is getting the black shirts because their officials aready have them;

so what other SEC schools are also choosing the black shirt from that seller?

Randy I understand they are a business only pointed out they suddenly raised their prices and their service is sketchy right now with no returned emails. Also could not find a phone number. AR is using black and other SEC are still deciding.

What has been the typical turn around time on orders?
Either way the USTA has made this a great big last minute clusterFrick.

The turnaround is usually 7-9 days since they don't keep the apparel in stock. Its not feasible to do this at all. I'm sure they raised their prices due to demand and that's not necessarily bad since they are already very reasonable.

If you look on the site you can click on "Contact Us" and send them an email and they will answer you. To be honest, I imagine they got tired of the rude phone calls from officials that they were getting. I couldn't believe some of the things officials were saying to them.

Thanks for the info Randy. I do wish they would note that it is a 7-9 day turnaround or what not. When one selects 2nd day air expecting quick arrival it defeats the purpose of offering it and paying more. I hope to eventually get a response but it is class less for officials to send disparaging remarks. I guess another option would be for the ITA to create patches that can be purchased
