Who are the instructors? Unfortunately this makes a big difference to many officials.

Not sure who they are but I'll check and see what I can find out.

The Texas Section assigned instructors for the DFW school are Randall Edwards and Roz Tuerk. These are in addition to the national instructors who do most of the teaching.

According to the National T/E list for 2012 it is someone named White. Also, here is the link for the handouts. I had a hard time finding it until I logged on to Nucula. http://www.usta.com/About-USTA/Officials/officials_school_handouts/

I think that is probably Roger White and he does a great job.

Thanks for the link to the handouts.

WAKE UP - Roz and Randall are some of Texas best!

White isn't a very diverse name. Not sure that name fits in with the new direction the USTA is trying to shove down our throats.

Teaching instructors at the schools??

More like pompous gurus anointing the unwashed herd with pearls before the swine. How?

Repeating the latest gospel on what is a foot fault, igniting the endless war stories about some time violating or point penalty or coaches' blunder personally witnessed, while playing with dvd recorders pause and skip functions, and

narrating the ancient scenarios acted by the then anointed guru class, in all their portliness and self importance.

Poor tennis officials; its the best there is.

If you want to complain about everything then do us all a favor and NOT recertify. We already have enough village idiots out there. Just ask Eeyore or one of his infamous characters from 3-acre Woods.
