What's Good For The Gander Should Also Be Good For The Goose

There's an old saying that says, "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" but perhaps it should be changed to "what's good for the gander should also be good for the goose."

ESPN announcer, Ron Franklin, and sideline reporter, Jeannine Edwards. Franklin was pulled from his assignment because of remarks made to Edwards.

Brett Favre is famous for his remarks and pictures he sent to Jets' employee.

We live in a contentious world in which everyone seems to be offended by everyone and everything--but I tend to think its an obvious case of gender discrimination. And the interesting part is that the gender discrimination is against the men and not the women...

You never hear of women being fired for inappropriate comments (or pictures) but I can guarantee you that they are just as guilty as men. All of us have sat in an officials locker room and heard all the comments coming from women that are so blatantly derogatory toward men that its amazing--but of course we are expected to just laugh and enjoy it. At one college tournament I had a female official ask me point blank, "why do men like women with big t__s?" Just try to speculate on what would have happened if I had asked her the same question in relation to the size of men's apparatus. In reality, men probably don't care that women choose to regularly insult them and call them names but that's not the issue. The issue is--what's good for the gander should also be good for the goose...

Its commonplace for men to be called pigs, sexist, liars and such but just imagine the furor if, as the gander, you were to call the goose something like that. All hell would break loose and geese everywhere would rise up in righteous indignation... I can vividly remember sitting in a pro tournament officials room and listen to the militant lesbians brag about their exploits and sexual preferences and habits but I had to be careful not to be offended and most of all, not to say anything or throw up...

Maybe its time we had all-male or all-female officials teams or God forbid, practice "what's good for the gander is also good for the goose."

Most men officials have been subjected to women (and specifically lesbians) ridiculing them and calling them all sorts of inappropriate names.

Imagine what would happen if we were to say the same to them...

Following up on Ron Franklin....
ESPN announcer Ron Franklin was fired by the network on Tuesday after making made a derogatory remark to sideline reporter Jeanne Edwards in a meeting before the Fiesta Bowl. Franklin had been pulled from the game's coverage after the incident.

Dead on right on this issue.

The wimpy, wussification and lesbianation of tennis officiating is the 'righteous norm' for the ditzy and affirmative action challenged hind tits.

Check the nauseating FAC on diversity for officials--it will curdle your cud.

"Lesbianation" is a term I've never heard before but I think it is quite appropriate when thinking of the USTA.

Well, chalk up another win for the PC crowd. Ron Franklin was indeed fired yesterday over this incident. Who in their right mind will ever speak with the lovely Jeannine Edwards again on anything not directly related to their current game assingment? Since she's so good, why not just put her up in the booth?

I don't think Jeannine even qualifies for 'eye candy'.

BECAUSE!!!!!

That would be my answer to the question posed to Randy by the female official he referenced in his blog post.
