Jon & Tristan Stitt
Its not often that we have an official who really excels at playing tennis but we do now!
Congratulations to Jon Stitt and his son, Tristan, for winning the father/son division of the 2013 National Family Tennis Championships in New York City. Jon is an official in the DFW Metroplex and Tristan is on the varsity tennis team at Highland Park High School.
We're all proud of Jon and his son.

Congratulations to the Stitts. In all due respect, I got into this officiating thing after holding the #1 and #3 ranking in men's doubles and singles at the 3.0 level back in 2006-2007. I also helped the Brookhaven team reach state for the first time in history the prior season. After moving up to 3.5, I was in the top 75 in doubles for awhile. Most of the officials I know are pretty good players, or were. Very few make it all the way to nationals, however. Great job!
