Not In Texas

Redneck seafood.

Enjoying the afternoon by the pool.

Seems that some of the officials got all offended over the previous post about "diversity" and "inclusion" so we had to shut down the comment section on that post. Seems that a bunch of them are all in favor of diversity--as long as I print what they agree with...

Just to set the record straight:

* Texas officials are the best in the universe.

* Texas ITA officials are by far the best in America.

* While we may be slightly "redneck" in Texas, it seems like the proper thing to be.

* We don't hire officials in Texas based on their skin color, religion, or sexual orientation. We hire them based on their performance.

* We don't take well to someone telling us who we have to include in our world. We prefer to make those choices ourselves.

* We prefer our men to act like men and our women to act like women. That's not asking too much but I'm sure it will offend someone, somewhere.

* We are willing to grudgingly admit that Oklahoma officials come in 2nd.

* We don't exclude any group from anything just because some other group threatens to sue when they don't get enough assignments. Heck, the most fun I ever had at a tournament was with a group of officials that had black folks, Asian folks, Hispanic folks, gay guys, and lesbian girls. So you see, we actually to practice diversity and inclusion in Texas--but only when we want to and not because someone says we have to!

We actually enjoy and learn from the actual tennis discussions. It's the right wingnut propeller beanie philosophy that has nothing to do with tennis that offends us.

A lot of tennis officials are always getting their panties in a wad, especially those that think they do a better job than their fellows. Most of them hold good ole boy and/or girl and/or whatever gender they claim positions within the USTA.

Talk about diversity issues, the heterosexual male is definitely a minority within the USTA officiating ranks.

. . . . and the white heterosexual male is discriminated against within the USTA officiating ranks. One of the many reasons I refuse to work USTA events.

If Texas officials are the "best in the Universe", which is very doubtful, show the rest of us "inferior" officials some of your officiating wisdom. All you seem to be interested in showing is how red your neck is.

I'm not interested in showing you how red my neck is--just reaffirming the superiority of Texas officials (and ITA officials in particular.) My neck is quite red and our officials are quite good. So what else is there to say?

Based on what are the Texas officials the 'best'? Some magic potion, rubbing shoulders with the annoited self important people?

Or is that just an assertion of fact,

like the Obamoid makes when he is lying to the unwashed living on the dole?

Try giving some facts as to the best accolade,

and maybe the few objective people can be educated.

Obviously you are not aware of the survey that was taken in January, 2012, in which 6,000 players, coaches, and officials voted for the best officials. Here were the results:

79% Texas
10% Oklahoma
2% California
2% Florida
2% Georgia
2% Maine
2% Utah
1% New York

Did you just pull the "survey results" out of a human, poteriorally positioned orifice, or was there such a survey? And yes, I may be a little gullible for even asking about the veracity of such a survey. Though frankly, I'm surprised the Texas results would be so low.....

The survey was actually pulled out of the posterior side of an Ethiopian ape.

I didn't want to tell you but I think you guessed it.

I too was surprised at the low ratings for the Texas officials.

No doubt RM is a great comic, and so

are the multitudes who post, pity
that you all did not pursue success as comedy writers or stand up comics,

But is there an actual survey that provides the facts supporting your idolatry of texas tennis officials?

If so could you break it down for the survey challenged: like number of coaches, number of officials, number of players contacted, and numbers of each replying and the actual questions contained in the survey. What a novel concept?

Or should the obama weary view the
facts as cnn tripe or choirboy carney obfuscation? Has the blog descended to playing at thinking?

Or has affirmative action dumbed down even the RM blogspot?

The ITA faithful await some sign
from texas, so other sections

can supplicate to their betters.

Please feel free to suplicate to your beliefs (whatever that means).

The survey was merely an example of made-up statistics much as we see from the Democrat party and CNN these days.
