On court temperature at 3:30 p.m. on August 20, 2011.
In the Highland Park vs Plano West dual match yesterday the temperate on court at 1:45 p.m. was 141 degrees. At 3:30 the temperature had dropped to only 127 degrees.
Thank the Lord for a summer cold front!

It is hot as Africa - al 'boring' - was right as far as globle warming - well for at least these last few months! But, don't forget, in 1980, it was almost just as hot - for just as long and then we hard a very-very hard winter - get ready - I would rather have the hot weather!!!!!

I hope they provided a HUGE ICE TEA with LUNCH on Saturday.....and I imagine Randy took EXTRA breaks to combat the heat.
Just so you know...
They provided a wonderful Diet Coke with lunch and I took ONE break during the entire 8 hours I was there. Spent 2 hours on the net post of a girls 14's match refereeing their cat fights.
But at my age I do need extra breaks... We should always be nice to old people.
Sorry I missed it. I would have like to see RM referee a cat fight.
I would have liked to see RM in court instead of at the snack table or front desk conjuring up conversations about his glorified horns
