Do you know where the different instructors will be assigned? That will help make my decision on which school I attend again this year.
Did anyone notice that both the National schools are on the same dates. Good planning!
I will try to get the list of instructors and publish them as soon as possible.
The instructors have now been added. Hope this helps.
OMG I can't believe some of the instructors named again this year. No wonder we Texas officials are getting a bad rap. At least two/three on the list don't know the rules. Hell, Nicki Minaj could do a better job.
Thanks for posting this list. I am new to Texas and I really appreciate your blog. It is a great thing that Texas has so many schools to pick from - we only had two to pick from and they were spread way apart. Thank you very much. Ben new Official in Houston
Its a good thing the blog is here to keep us updated. The Texas Section newsletter is from 2011. Great leadership being shown.
The Texas Section must be reading the blog. They finally put up the list of 2013 schools. One small step for man, one giant leap for the Texas Sevtion!
They read the blog every day at the Texas Section but they can't keep pace. Perhaps it comes down to the question of leadership.
I thought we got rid of some of those instructors a few years back. Who the hell hires them anyway?
I think they feel like many other Americans - entitled... Get rid of the School Coordinator and let someone new come in and REDO the entire thing. The schools are a JOKE - five minutes on important items and 2 hours on some dumb asses question....
the class could be on line - and save a lot of money.
but, follow the money... someone needs to get paid to "instruct" and be "coordinator" STUPID STUPID STUPID
get rid of them all and start over with fresh faces and people that really care
i know foster and he is NO COMMUNITY ORGANIZER - and especially not an officials organizer
maybe he should just fish
good luck with your schools texas - i am done bitching - see you on the courts

Interesting Randy - I did not know the Instructors and Coordinator were paid?! How much are these people paid by the Section - what training do they have - why are they so special?
By the way - our Corpus School was the best we have had in a long time and Mr. Price and Mr. Foster taught it in one day!
I see this blog and see that tennis official people are complainers - at least some people are trying to help and make things better.
Thank you for your blog and all the information you give officials.
Jesse
The instructors are paid $150/day plus mileage, meals, and lodging. They have a training school every January.
