US Open: Chair Officials' Shoes To The Forefront

Is this the new norm for a chair official?

What a great week we have had watching the US Open and the fantastic tennis every day!  Who could adequately describe Murray's irritation at the malfunctioning sound system...

On the other hand, its been quite the fashion show for the chair officials as they are unveiling all kinds of new and colorful shoes!  The shoes have been impressive and quite the stir but I'm sure its stirring some pots around New York City.  I would tend to say, keep it up and show us some more!  After all, with those things that Serena is wearing (along with the color coordinated arm things) who can complain about shoes...

Here are our recommendations:

The absolute top of the line!  The bright color brings out the highlights of the chair official's eyes and who cares about the fans and players.  The bows are optional and are  fine for either men or women officials to wear during the evening matches.

The perfect shoe for the female chair official.  Slightly understated but with bright colors to bring out their charming personalities.  Black highlights give emphasis to authority and control in the chair.

Our choice for the male chair officials.  Again, slightly understated but the orange and yellow and red highlights stress the sun rise of a new day in officiating.  It also serves to pacify fans of UT, Tennessee, OSU and Georgia.

The perfect shoe for the female chair official that wants to keep in touch with her masculine side while still maintaining feminine emphasis.

Our favorite choice for the male official who wants to bring in the more masculine tennis fans.

The "ultimate" for the male chair official.  Note the brightly colored laces which highlight adventure and the fleece linings which lend the shoes to winter wear.  An absolute must for any macho male chair official.

This great new flavor fits in nicely with the new changes at the Open.  Be sure to grab some on your way out!
