Texas Longhorns
Undefeated through the regular season.
Baylor Bears
Defending conference champions and always a threat.
Texas A&M Aggies
Finished 2nd in regular season.
Texas Tech Red Raiders
Always a strong team.
This is the week of the Big 12 tournament in Austin--and it should be a good one! The women's side is kind of cut and dried but the men's side promises to be great.
The top four teams are UT, Baylor, A&M, and Tech on the men's side and the Baylor women on the other.
Anybody ever wonder what would happen if the Baylor women played in the men's division?
What are your thoughts and predictions about the outcome?

Finals
Men
Baylor 4 UT 2
Women
Baylor 4 UT 1
The Fightin' Texas Aggies (wwwhhhhoooopppppp) are going to crush the little tea sips (tu) in the Men's finals as payback from their close 7-0 loss during the regular season.
The Baylor Women won't even have to show up to claim their Big 12 title. Their finals against the other tea sip team will last approximately 56 minutes.
You have to be kidding. If the Baylor Women played the worst Men's team, they would be crushed. They may win a couple of games but that would be it.
For the first time ever, there won't be a winner announced for the Men's tournament. It will get rained out.
How many of the officials working the Big 12 tournament have already placed their bets? That will determine who wins the tournament, won't it!?! A creative overrule here and there will go far.
Hey Eeyore, will you be making an appearance at the Big 12 tournament? We all know how you love Austin. Rumor has it your favorite official will be working the tournament.
Texas A&M Women will win. Coach Kleineke will find something to protest about in each match and although no points will be awarded, the A&M team will receive favorable responses from the "secret" coaches grievance committee.
I would put my money on the Baylor women....both sides. :)
Texas Mens defeats Baylor in final 4-2. Baylor defeats Texas A&M in semis 4-2.
Baylor Champions both men and women - end of discussion!
Well after watching Texas sweep the Texas A&M, my money is on the Longhorns.
Hook 'Em!
Anyone want to weigh in on how the officials were selected to work this event this year? Is it the best of the best? Or was there some other criteria used in the selection process?
I wonder who Kleinecke will complain to when they lose?
If you have to pay to get in, don't come Thursday when the women are playing. It sure won't be worth the money.
After checking the officials schedule I see that Eeyore's favorite will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone think he will show up?
I'm gearing up for a great couple of days in Austin. Spring time is great there!
Hopefully they will sweep the courts real good so some officials don't get confused and think they are clay courts...
So how does one "check the officials' schedule" to see who is working?
I heard that the one who pouts if she isn't on the #1 singles match is there on Saturday and Sunday and then the one who got out of the chair to check a ball mark will be there to join her.
What a crew!
As of this morning (Saturday) all four teams in the men's division are still in contention. Texas plays Tech and Baylor plays A&M.
