How Would You Rule?

A match is being played with no official.  There is a hole in the net.  During doubles play the receiving team says the serve went through the net, but serving team says it doesn't.

Whose call is it?

SMU Tennis Complex

Indoor courts at the new SMU tennis complex.

We had the privilege this past weekend of refereeing the first ITA tournament at the new SMU tennis complex--and it is absolutely fantastic!  Probably one of the premier collegiate venues in America and is a testimony to the hard work and planning of the SMU coaches and administration.  A job more than well done...

HIGHLAND PARK
2014 6A Champions

The Highland Park Scots capped the inaugural 6A team tennis tournament by winning the title with a hard fought victory over arch-rival New Braunfels.  The match score was 10-7.

Here is a list of the Highland Park achievements with their victory:

*  151 Dual match winning streak.
*  7th straight Team Tennis Champions in both 4A and 6A.
*  12 State Team Tennis champions in Texas history.

The special significance of the victory was that Highland Park had won the last 6 consecutive 4A titles and New Braunfels had won the last 6 5A team titles before the creation of the 6A division.

A special congratulations to the Highland Park Scots and their achievements which have never been equaled in the history of Texas tennis.
